The market is measured from downtown McAlester: Krebs, Hartshorne, Wilburton, Quinton and Savanna close in, Eufaula, Clayton, Stringtown, Talihina and Red Oak in the middle band, and Poteau, Wister and Howe at the far edge. If you live in Pittsburg, Latimer or Haskell County, this is the market you'd apply to.
Distances are measured from downtown McAlester. The towns below sit in Pittsburg, Latimer, Atoka, Haskell, Le Flore and Hughes counties. Every market reaches 75 miles from its downtown in three travel bands, and the farther bands pay a higher hourly rate because the drive is longer. You choose which bands you take, and you can change it later.

Southeast Oklahoma is hill country and the drives take longer than the mileage suggests, which is why the outer bands pay what they do. The towns are small, people know each other, and a Local Nerd who does good work in Hartshorne or Krebs hears about it from the next three customers. Lake Eufaula brings the second home and cabin work in season, and the rest of the year it's ordinary houses and the everyday help they need.
