Lawton is where OkieNerd started and it is still the market we know best, which does not mean it is finished. In-person visits run out to fifty miles today, from Lawton and Fort Sill through Cache, Elgin, Walters, Anadarko and Waurika, and the outer ring down into Wichita Falls country is not being driven. Southwest Oklahoma has one of the busiest customer bases we have and we are hiring here too, Lawton included.
In-person visits are open in this market, and they stop short of the edge of it. The 50 to 75 mile band is not being driven, so 7 towns out there have no in-person option at all and are served remotely. A Local Nerd here who takes the longer drives turns that back on.

43 towns are measured off the Lawton anchor: 19 within 25 miles, 17 in the 25 to 50 mile band, 7 in the 50 to 75 mile band. They sit in Comanche, Caddo, Cotton, Stephens and Grady counties, plus Wichita and Archer counties in Texas. Every market reaches 75 miles in three travel bands, and the farther bands pay a higher hourly rate because the drive is longer. You choose which bands you take, and you can change it later.

Lawton is an Army town and Army towns have a particular rhythm: families arrive, set up a whole house in a week, and take it apart three years later. First-week Wi-Fi and TV setups, last-week backups and disconnections, over and over. Out past town it turns into something else, Medicine Park, Cache, Elgin and the Wichita Mountains, where the problem is usually distance from the router and thick walls rather than the gear. Both halves are steady, and both are already proven here.
You keep the majority of every booking, and 100% of every tip. You see the split up front. Tips are paid out weekly with no commission taken.
