The I-35 corridor through Carter and Love counties is a mix we do not see anywhere else: town neighborhoods, lake places around Lake Murray, and a lot of houses on acreage where the nearest neighbor is a quarter mile off. Coverage work dominates here. So does helping people who split their time between here and somewhere else keep both places working without having to think about it.
South-central Oklahoma draws retirees, and a fair number of them moved here from somewhere with different internet, different TV service and different everything. Getting reoriented is a real job and we are glad to do it slowly and thoroughly.

Ardmore itself is in the 25 to 50 mile band, at $130 an hour. Only a $39 deposit is due online when you book an in-person visit; the rest is charged after your Nerd finishes and you sign off on the work. There is also a Nerd on Call membership at $14.99 a month that includes two remote sessions and an in-person visit a year plus 20% off anything extra. You always approve the price before we start.

No. We set things up, get them working and explain them; we do not open machines up to replace parts or recover data off a dead drive. When that is what the problem turns out to be, we say so and point you somewhere useful rather than billing you to discover it.
