We're the people our neighbors call when the Wi-Fi dies, the new phone won't take their photos, or the TV stopped talking to the remote. If you're patient with people and good with their tech, we'd like to meet you.

- A background check, and we pay for it.Only after we've talked. Customers let us into their homes, so everyone is screened.
- Onboarding.Your contractor agreement and direct deposit, 20 to 30 minutes in one sitting.

Your devices & skills
Customers call us about whatever they own. This tells us which jobs would suit you, and which ones wouldn't. Be honest. Nobody is expected to know everything, and a low score here costs you nothing.
You can't troubleshoot a platform you've never touched. Check everything you personally have access to.
A lot of what we fix is solved on a call where you can see the customer's screen instead of guessing. You do that through OkieNerd's own tools, so there is nothing extra to install.
